Comments Closing the PO will be an atrocious decision. It will destroy the community spirit that has kept our shop alive.

The post office is the centre of our community. It is where I, as Vicar, hear all the news about the people of the parish, if they are ill or in other need. My job of providing spiritual and pastoral care will be so much more difficult if the Post offic If the post office closes the village will be dead.
No where for the older peple to go to get their pension and shopping. If post offices close there will be no where to pay bills or get money and for the people who don't drive they will have no money for shopping.

Brechfa needs a post office. Brechfa is my nearest PO & shop ie. 7 miles; otherwise 14 miles to Llandeilo. There will be nowhere local to send my parcels from (I am self employed). It's a community touch point. Far more eco friendly than driving to Carmarthen Essential service for local community - keeping community alive!!!
A very important asset. Where else to go to get the stamps! It will be a great blow to our community if the Post office closes, and a backward step in our dendeavour to be self-sufficient and not waste fuel in travelling to Carmarthen. We have an excellent service in the Post office here and the shop.

The post office needs to be kept open as a long way to travel to main post office!! Had a stoke and unable to walk more than a few yards. No other PO on B4310 from Porthyrhyd to Crugybar.

This post office is needed inBrechfa. Long way to travel elsewhere. Keep the Post office. its at least 10 miles to travel to another post office and that's not fair on the people in the village.
I need the po to stay open. Very short-sighted policy, closing these. I was the last person to have Llanfynydd post office. I really believe it broke the village. The post office was the meeting place for the villagers. It's the heart of the community If its a 14 mile round trip to the nearest PO count up the CO2 emissions and take account of the impract on climate change. Please don't!
